1 Management Fees vary by investment option and include the cost of administering the investment options. They may include investment management fees, 12(b)-1 fees, custodial fees, trading fees and fund accounting fees. 12(b)-1 fees are extra fees charged by some mutual funds to cover promotion, distributions, marketing expenses, and sometimes commissions to brokers.
Investment management fees are typically fees paid directly to the Investment Manager to manage the assets of their respective fund. Custodial fees are assessed by the fund custodian to hold securities in safekeeping for an investor. Fund accounting fees are assessed by the trustee/custodian to cover the cost of calculating daily prices/unit values of the fund. These fees are included in the Fund Fact Sheets and are netted against fund performance.
2 Expense Reimbursement represents a portion of the fund’s total expense ratio paid to Savings Plus to help offset administrative expenses.
3 Redemption Fees may apply to these funds. See the Transfer Restrictions and Redemptions Fees document and the Fund Fact Sheets for more information.
4 A shareholder reimbursement of approximately 2.85 basis points (0.0285%) is paid to Savings Plus from the Government Money Market fund providers’ Management Fee. This shareholder reimbursement plus the Expense Reimbursement of 2.15 basis points (0.0215%) equals five basis points (0.05%), which is equitable to the expense reimbursement of the other Savings Plus investment options.
Remember, the retirement income from your Savings Plus account is directly related to how much you contribute, how your contributions are invested, and the performance of your investments, net of all fees. Savings Plus offers investment products that are competitively priced when compared to many other investment products. Low investment fees continue to keep more of your retirement money working for you in your portfolio.
